This policy explains how we process the personal data you send us through this website. We only ask for the data needed to contact you and arrange the appointment.

2. What data we process
When you fill in a form on this website, we receive:
- your name;
- a contact — phone or email;
- optionally, the area you would like assessed, chosen from a list;
- in the form for international patients, optionally: where you live, when you will be in the Algarve, for how long and what you would like assessed;
- the page from which you sent the request — which indicates the service you are interested in, so that the clinic knows what type of consultation to arrange — and a random reference code, which contains no personal data and only serves to identify the request.
The form does not ask for health data. Please do not describe symptoms or send clinical information through the form — these matters are dealt with in the consultation.
3. What we use the data for
We use the data only to contact you and arrange the assessment or consultation you requested. We do not use the data for advertising, nor do we sell or pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box before sending the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before then.
5. Who processes the data on our behalf
- Formspree — a service that receives the form requests and forwards them to the clinic's email. The data is processed in the United States; the transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website. To serve the pages and protect the website, it processes technical connection data, such as the IP address.
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the message is sent by you through that service, under WhatsApp's terms. The pre-filled message contains a short greeting and the request reference code; you can change it before sending.
6. How long we keep the data
We keep the request data for 12 months after the last contact, after which it is deleted. If you ask for deletion before that period, we delete the data as soon as possible.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may at any time:
- access your data;
- ask for incorrect data to be rectified;
- ask for the data to be erased;
- ask for processing to be restricted;
- ask for data portability;
- withdraw your consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us by email ([email protected]), by phone (+351 932 218 015) or in person at the clinic. We reply within one month at the latest.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data has not been processed correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados — CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
