Medical assessment before the procedure.

The laser treats small areas of the skin in a fractional way, triggering a process of repair and remodelling.
It can cause heat, burning or stinging. Anaesthesia appropriate to the intensity and the treated area is used.
Redness, swelling, small crusts and peeling may occur for several days.
First the skin recovers. Remodelling continues progressively over the following weeks and months.
Scars can improve, but we cannot promise that they will disappear.
Sun protection after treatment is essential.
Sun protection is essential during recovery. Inappropriate sun exposure increases the risk of pigmentation changes.
Pigmentation changes, prolonged redness, infection, texture changes or unfavourable healing may occur.
First we identify the change and assess the skin type. Then we decide whether CO2 is the appropriate option.
